Graffiti fans are in mourning Tuesday after the owners of 5 Pointz had the street art landmark in Long Island City painted white overnight.
“They’ve officially painted over 5 Pointz @5PointzNYC – my commute won’t be the same,” tweeted William McGinn, one of scores of fans who took to Twitter Tuesday morning to bemoan the loss.
